Join the Castle Hill Ranger for a refreshing winter walk on the eve of the Winter Solstice, which marks the longest night and shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The walk will be 5 miles. Free.
Friday 20th December 2019 from 12 noon to 3pm.
For the walk you will need good footwear, warm clothing and waterproofs. There will be some slopes, rough terrain and a number of step-over stiles. Meet at the top car park on Castle Hill. Sorry, no dogs except assistance dogs. Organised by Kirklees Council.
