Newsome Grapevine helps people to find out what’s going on in our local area and to get involved in community life. We offer a network of websites, social media and opportunities to share printed materials in the Newsome ward. The grapevine is co-ordinated by Newsome Ward Community Forum and currently includes:

Community noticeboards

There are community noticeboards at Newsome crossroads (opposite Newsome Post Office), on Edale Avenue, on Spring Grove Street and at the junction of Manor Street and Elm Street. If you have local events or activities to promote, you can bring your posters for the Newsome Forum noticeboard at Newsome crossroads to:

  • Sheila or Diane at any Newsome Forum meeting
  • Bev at the playgroup in Newsome Church Hall

The Newsome Ward includes:
