Newsome Ward Community Forum
We connect local people and organisations and we work together to improve our local area and provide opportunities for community participation. We run annual events such as Newsome Play Day and the Kiddies Christmas Party, and we look after greenspaces such as Hey Green Community Orchard. We have open meetings every other month.
We’re a community of food growers in the Newsome ward of Huddersfield. We run a Community Allotment that’s open to everyone and we organise annual events that bring people together, such as our Seed Swap and Potato Day in March, our Big Plant Swap in May and our Autumn Gathering in October.
