Tree planting in Newsome

Join in one of these open sessions for tree planting volunteers in the Newsome Ward. Feel free to stay as long as you like during the event times. Please wear sturdy footwear, dress for the weather and bring your own refreshments.

These sessions are part of Kirklees Council’s woodland creation programme, under the White Rose Forest, which aims to contribute to long-term carbon storage, reverse biodiversity decline and provide high quality woodlands for our communities.
