Join us for a week filled with creativity, with a new art workshop every day, you can learn how to make your own clay animals, leaf crowns, pebble painting, bark etchings, natural art outdoors, water painting, wild jewellery and more! With something different each day this is a great way to be learn the many ways in which nature has so much to offer. Fun for all the family. Standard price £4 / £6 per person. Come along and egg-splore out egg-celent gardens! We’ll have an Easter themed trail with lots of family craft activities themed on new life! Standard price £4 / £6 per child. Fun for all the family, ages 3+ Light refreshments will be available.

Stirley Wild Walk – cancelled

The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust have cancelled all events at Stirley Farm until the end of April 2020, due to the coronovirus outbreak.

Put a spring in your step with a guided walk around our grass lands and up to the iconic Castle Hill. Being outdoors is not only great for your health and wellbeing, but it’s the best way to see nature close up, bring your walking boots, take in the view, aaaaand relax! The walk will be about 1.5 to 2 hours in total, approximately 4km. Medium to hard difficulty (with potential for boggy areas, steep inclines and uneven terrain). Light refreshments will be available after the walk. Suitable for familes and adults (age 8+). Price: £4 member, and £6 non-member per attendee – includes hot drinks.

Spring Nature Tots

Come and join us for fun activities in and around Stirley Farm for pre-schoolers and their parents (suitable for 5s and under). Nature Tots take place the last Friday of every month, we encourage creative play and weather permitting, will do many of our pre-school activities outside. We aim to incorporate nature and wildlife elements into toddler play, it’s also a great opportunity to meet new parents and have a good catch-up with a cup of tea or coffee. Light refreshments available. Standard price £4 / £6 per child – adults free.

Nature needs a little helping hand after the long winter to start building new homes for their families. Come along and have fun making nesting stations for birds and hotels for bees to take home with you! Light refreshments available. Suitable for 5 years +

Ever wondered what it’s like to forage in the woods and make your own food and drink with what grows around us? On this holistic wild walk we’ll show you some simple recipes you can make from things right outside your door step.

Come and join the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust on Spring Bank holiday Monday 2019 for some fun outdoor games and activities at Stirley Farm. Have the chance to explore our gardens and vegetable patch and bring your own picnic to admire the view. Take a walk through our fields, how many calves will you spot? Cakes and hot drinks will be available.

Open Farm Sunday

On 9th June 2019, hundreds of farms all over the country will open their gates for LEAF Open Farm Sunday 2019. The Yorkshire Wildlife Trust are celebrating all things wildlife and conservation. Come and join us at Stirley Farm for a fun day out, with farm themed activities, food and drink and meet the people behind the scenes who look after our livestock and local wildlife.

Open Farm Sunday

The BIG Blessing

Come and join local volunteers for the 4th annual outdoor service at Stirley Community Farm on Sunday 26th May 2019 from 2pm to 3pm, followed by refreshments.

Songs, prayers and readings at Stirley Community Farm for wildlife, farming, allotments and gardens, and Planet Earth. Meet at the Cre8 Barn at 2pm and walk round the farm to visit our bees, cows, vegetable garden and orchard. Special theme this year “Climate Emergency”. Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome. Come prepared for the weather! Refreshments afterwards in the Cre8 Barn.
