Everyone is welcome at Growing Newsome’s annual Seed Swap and Potato Day. This early Spring event features everything you need to get your food growing year off to a great start. We have 25 different varieties of seed potato for you to choose from, plus lots of vegetable seeds. You can bring seeds along to swap if you’d like.

You can also enjoy seed planting and children’s craft activities, browse our local food, books and community stalls – and enjoy our refreshments including homemade cakes, and a hot lunch served at 12 noon.

The event is on Saturday 7th March 2026 from 10am to 1pm at Newsome Scout Hall, Newsome Road South HD4 6JJ.
